AMP-95
AMP-95 is a product designed for use as a tank-side pH conditioner in water extendable metalworking lubricants. It is suitable for use in soluble oil, semi-synthetic, and synthetic coolants. AMP-95 can be used when the reservoir containing fluid show signs of bacterial deterioration such as the development of odor, slime growth, or diminished rust protection. If the pH of the fluid being treated with biocide/fungicide is below 8.8 it is recommended to first add AMP 95. Start out by adding 8 – 16 ounces of AMP 95 per 100 gallons of fluid and continue to add until the pH reaches 8.8 to 9.4. For best results add biocide/fungicide after adjusting the pH to 8.8 or higher.
Usage
AMP-95 should be introduced slowly into the inlet side of the recirculation pump and circulated in order to achieve maximum penetration to all areas exposed to the lubricant.
